A USER'S GUIDE TO THE MILLENNIUM
A collection of Ballard's non-fiction, which contained ninety separate items - reviews of books, editorial commentaries, films reviews, etc. First published in hardback in the U.K. by HarperCollins in 1996; a hardback U.S. edition followed from Picador in the same year.
MIRACLES OF LIFE: SHANGHAI TO SHEPPERTON
Ballard's autobiography, published as a hardback in the U.K. in early 2008. The London booksellers Waterstones brought out a signed edition in a slipcase, limited to 1,000 copies. The book itself is identical to the normal edition, except for the addition of a numbered and signed limitation page. A US edition was published by Norton in 2013.
